Church of the Savior

I’m excited to welcome you to our website! Church of the Savior is a special place – a warm, engaged church community where you will find people of all ages who seek to grow spiritually, serve others, build community, and promote peace and justice in our world. COS is so many things: sacred music, fellowship, reflection and food on Sundays; game night or working for social change with Justice Knox on Mondays; community-building dinners and women’s spirituality group meetings on Tuesdays; delivering food to those who are hungry or going to centering prayer on Wednesdays; taking part in a book club or serving families who are homeless on Thursdays; discussing current events on Fridays; playing ping-pong or practicing contemplative prayer on Saturdays; and so much more. Here, we seek to understand our faith in fresh ways for our own time. Here, we believe in the possibility of a world where the earth and all people are treated with respect and kindness. Here, you will be welcomed as you are, wherever you are on your spiritual journey, because none of us have fully arrived. So come join us as we share life together and seek to learn what it means to love one another and all of God’s children with the love of Christ.
