Worship
We were created to worship God, to acknowledge His beauty and greatness, and to love and serve Him above all else. Corporate worship is the time in our week when we renew our commitment to this supreme goal. It’s a time for us to grow in our awareness of God’s presence, savor His grace in Christ, and receive the strengthening of His Spirit as a community beloved by Him. Worship is embedded in the life of our community through Sunday morning corporate worship, other seasonal times of community worship, and personal rhythms of prayer and praise.
Formation
Formation describes the process of maturing into the image of Christ. We believe this maturity happens by the power of God’s Spirit in all the varied contexts of life as they are offered up in love, praise, and service to God. It is the church’s unique role in this process to train and support one another for that service and to be a reservoir of refreshment, strength, and wisdom for launching out into the world.
Mission
Mission is embedded in the life of our community through support of missionaries and ministries all over the world; inviting outsiders into the life of our community; and the sending of our members to faithfully proclaim and embody Christ in the places He has called them to live, serve, and work, including places that are beyond what is comfortable and familiar.
