Hillview Baptist Goodlettsville

Hillview Baptist Church began as Hillview Baptist Mission in 1989, established by our sister church, Dickerson Road Baptist, to fulfill the need to reach the northern area of Goodlettsville with the message of Christ. Our name was derived from the beautiful view from atop the hill where the church is located. Our church feels like “home” for good reason: It is a former residence that was converted to a beautiful church with the addition of a sanctuary and classrooms. On a deeper note, many guests and members have commented that their drive up the hill makes them feel as though they are actually “coming home” to a peaceful place of refuge, where they can regain their strength for living.

In 1995, Hillview voted to change its status from “mission” to “church,” becoming a member of the Nashville Baptist Association and independently assuming all its own financial obligations, retiring all debt the following year.

Hillview has seen many changes over the years. As we grow and stretch in uncertain times and an unsure culture, we are certain and sure of our need for Christ. We continue to reach into our community in a variety of ways, serving with love and faithfulness, desiring for all to come into a personal relationship with Jesus.
