Jeffrey (Andre) Bryant founder of Burger Boys has 35 years’ experience in quick service restaurants. Andre has worked at every position from crew member to restaurant owner. His career began as a high school student working as a crew member for Wendy’s International in Columbus, Ohio. By the time he graduated from high school he had completed the management training program and was the store manager. He moved to New York and worked for a period of time and with this experience he was promoted to manager on Wendy’s International flag ship store.
Jeffery also worked for Wendy’s franchise owner, Ulysses “Junior” Bridgeman, a former NBA player who retired from the NBA in 1987. Jeffery led the franchise training program from 1987 to 1991. Junior Bridgeman went on to be the largest minority franchisee in Wendy’s history and one of the largest restaurant franchise operators in the county, operating more than 160 Wendy’s stores and well over 100 Chili’s restaurants.
During Andre’s tenure with Wendy’s he had several mentors, Quint Graham who owns 120 Wendy’s franchises, Joe Drury who purchased and reengineered Bojangles chain, and the late Jim Near (former CEO of Wendy’s International). All of these men influenced the way Andre conducts business. He strives to provide the best customer service, appreciates all who those he serves and makes sure he provides a quality product at an affordable price.
Andre has owned several successful business – Brother’s Drive Thru, Brothers Fried Chicken, and Buckeye Fried Chicken. With each business he tweaked his processes and refined his operations and from those businesses Burger Boys was born.
