Allison Spears is the newest person to become a Brentwood City Commissioner. Elected with 2,315 votes in the January 12 special election, Spears will serve until May 2025. Spears is fulfilling the remainder of former Commissioner Regina Smithson’s seat, who passed away last year. The next general election is set for May 2 where four City Commissioners will be elected. The candidate qualifying deadline for the next election is February 16, 2023. The voter registration deadline is April 3 and citizens can learn how to register online here.
